Metal parts for automation equipment

Metal parts for automation equipment — machine housings, guards, control boxes, laser-welded frames, brackets and springs — from single prototypes to repeat production, with no tooling cost for sheet metal parts. We laser cut sheet up to 1500 × 3000 mm, bend up to 3 m, laser weld in-house and stamp small parts to ±0.02 mm, under ISO 9001:2015.

What requirements are typical for automation parts?

  • Low volumes and frequent revisions: most machine parts are built in small batches, so laser cutting and bending without tooling is usually the right route.
  • Accurate mounting patterns for rails, sensors and motors; critical holes should carry their own tolerance.
  • Flatness after welding for frames and base plates.
  • Clean cosmetic finish on visible housings: powder coat or brushed stainless.
  • Springs specified by load at working length for fixtures, grippers and latches.
  • Consistent parts across repeat orders, backed by first article reports.

From prototype to repeat production

Machine builders often start with one or two prototype housings, then order the same parts in small batches as machines sell. Laser cut and bent parts need no tooling, so a revision only changes the program, not your cost base. When a bracket or clip reaches stamping volumes — the minimum is 1,000 pieces — we can move it to a die and show you the break-even.

One supplier for several metal processes

A typical machine combines a welded frame, a sheet metal housing, stamped brackets and springs. Because we make all of them in one factory, related parts can be quoted, inspected and shipped together. Surface finishing and tooling are done by qualified partners that we manage.

What to send for an automation parts RFQ

  • STEP models and PDF drawings for each part, with revision letters
  • Material, thickness and finish for each part
  • Quantity per machine and expected machines per year
  • Critical mounting features and flatness requirements
  • Which parts ship as welded assemblies and which loose

Where to start

  • Housings and boxes: read electrical enclosures and stainless steel fabrication.
  • Frames: read laser welding.
  • Early builds: read prototypes and low-volume production.
  • Small parts: read stamped brackets and precision springs.

Frequently asked questions

Can you build single prototype housings?

Yes. Laser cut and bent parts need no tooling, so we quote prototype quantities. Sample cost and lead time are confirmed per project in the quote.

Do you machine parts?

Our in-house processes are stamping, springs, laser cutting, CNC bending, laser welding and injection molding. CNC machining is not one of them; tell us if your assembly includes machined parts.

Can you weld stamped brackets onto sheet metal frames?

Yes. Laser welding stamped parts to frames is a regular job and lets the assembly ship as one part number, which reduces assembly work on your side.

Can you supply stainless parts for wash-down areas?

Yes. We fabricate and laser weld SUS304, with passivation or brushing through finishing partners.

Can you keep parts consistent across small repeat orders?

Each repeat order is built to the released drawing revision, and a first article report can be supplied for each new revision.
