Metal parts for energy-storage equipment

Metal parts for energy-storage equipment — cabinet structures, doors, battery shelves, brackets, stamped terminals and springs — quoted and shipped together from one ISO 9001:2015 factory. We laser cut, bend and weld cabinets up to 3000 mm tall and 1500 mm wide and stamp small parts to ±0.02 mm. Cells, BMS and system certification stay with you.

What requirements are typical for energy-storage cabinets?

  • Size and stiffness: tall cabinets carrying heavy battery modules need welded frames and correctly placed flanges.
  • Corrosion protection for outdoor sites: SGCC with powder coat, or SUS304 for harsh locations.
  • Sealing details: door flanges and gasket channels designed to your enclosure rating; testing and certification of the system stay with you.
  • Earthing points with masked or conductive contact areas.
  • Repeatable hole patterns for modules, busbars and cable glands.
  • Material certificates and dimensional reports for incoming inspection.

What we supply and what we do not

We build cabinet structures and panels to your drawings and supply the brackets, stamped terminals and springs that go into them. Battery cells, BMS, wiring, thermal systems and system certification are outside our scope.

Surface finishing — powder coating, painting and plating — is done by qualified partners and included in our quote and inspection.

Import and compliance notes

How a cabinet or bracket is classified on import affects duty and, for EU buyers, whether CBAM applies: steel articles under CN 7326 are in scope, while some electrical-equipment headings are not. Classification is the importer’s decision; we supply drawings, weights and material data to support it.

How an energy-storage cabinet project usually runs

  • Drawing review: we check bend sequences, weld access, hole patterns and how panels fit within our 1500 × 3000 mm sheet size.
  • Prototype cabinet: laser cut, bent and welded without tooling, then coated by our partner.
  • Fit check by you with modules, wiring and doors installed; we update the programs for any revision.
  • Pilot batch with first article report, then production with AQL sampling.
  • Small parts in volume — brackets, terminals, springs — move to stamping or spring coiling where the quantity justifies it, from 1,000 pieces.

Which materials are used for cabinet parts?

MaterialTypical useNotes
SGCC + powder coatOutdoor cabinet skins and doorsZinc layer plus coating; cut edges covered by powder
SPCC + powder coatIndoor cabinets, internal framesLowest material cost
SUS304Hardware and panels in harsh or coastal sitesHigher cost, no coating needed

Where to start

  • Cabinets: read energy-storage cabinet fabrication and electrical enclosures.
  • Materials: compare SGCC and SPCC for cabinet panels.
  • Imports: read our EU CBAM guide and HS codes for enclosures.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply complete battery energy-storage systems?

No. We fabricate cabinet structures and metal parts to your design. Cells, BMS, electrical integration and system certification are not in our scope.

What is the largest cabinet you can build?

Up to 3000 mm tall and 1500 mm wide.

Can you build a prototype cabinet first?

Yes. Laser cut and bent cabinets need no tooling, so single prototypes can be built before production.

Do you powder coat cabinets?

Yes, through qualified finishing partners. Color, texture and coating thickness are specified on your drawing.

Can you make the stamped terminals and brackets for the same cabinet?

Yes. Stamping, springs and sheet metal run in one factory, so cabinet panels, brackets, terminals and latch springs can be quoted and shipped together under one quality system.
